Highland Games at SERO.
True to the tradition of the Highlands the members of the steadily increasing “SERO-Clan” gathered for the annual summer festival on 2nd of June. And as the rite dictates, a large number of Scottish clans encountered to compete at the LEADERinEMS’s tournament.
In perfect weather and perceived temperature of ca. 40°C each participant was spurred by his ambition to maximize the own performance, while wearing the obligatory, traditional kilt. No matter if at bow and arrow, throwing axes, at tug of war or at shooting the opponents with a potato catapult, the will to win was only exceeded by having fun and a fair cooperation.
Once the work was done, in the evening the clans reached each other in forgiving conversations, while enjoying culinary delicacies, such as “Rebknorzen” and traditional musical accompaniment of the “Folks of Glen Queich”.
In total it was a very successful festival, which has left very positive memories especially through the participation of all attendants.
For this reason, we would like to say Thank You to all participants!
